Handmade Soaps

I made soaps for my family as a hobby. My friends also enjoy using my handmade soaps. Our Brunei Darussalam handmade soap are made from vegetable oils and 100% pure essential oils. Herbs and spices are also added. Garden of Suds handmade soaps make use of Brunei Darussalam's local ingredients such as lemon grass and wild ginger.

'Lulut Brunei' is our top seller, Minty Mama, Baby and Carrotie are some of the favourites along with many other popular types from our soap lines.

Those who have sensitive skin feeling dry, itchy and tight from using commercial 'soaps' may benefit from using natural handmade soap because handmade soaps are very mild.

The US FDA Office of Cosmetics and Colors Fact Sheet 3 Feb 1995 stated: “Most body cleansers on the market today are actually synthetic detergent products and come under the jurisdiction of FDA.” An earlier fact sheet of February 1979 also stated "There are consumers who may experience irritation or allergic skin reactions from some synthetic detergents." Handmade soaps are pure soap and do not contain hardener to make them last longer like commercial 'soap'. To take care of your soap make sure it is placed in a soap dish with holes at the base to allow water drainage. Avoid leaving your soap soaking in water, it will dissolve. Keep your wrapped soap in a dry place away from excess moisture.
